The Tomatoes are here!

Finally the tomatoes are here! This is the longest wait I have ever had for tomatoes, which doesn't make any sense since it's also the earliest I've ever planted them! Guess I shouldn't have skipped the "Early Girls" this year. This year I planted  Brandywine (of course!), Green Zebra, Marvel Stripe, Black Krim, Persimmon, and Costoluto. My cherries are Sungold, Sweet Gold and Supersweet 100. I started all my tomatoes from seed this year indoors.
Oh! the peppers, eggplant and squash are all doing well too!

  1. Looking good Ron! We're not even close yet -- probably another two to three weeks away because we DID plant late -- as in late May to be exact. I've got plants loaded for bear shore nuff -- but it's all green for as far as the eye can see.

The one exception to that rule is the four or five starter plants gifted to me by Fred Hoffman. An Oxheart has been producing regularly (one or two pieces of fruit per week) -- but the others are still GREEN as GREEN can be!

  2. Gorgeous pictures of your produce! I can only wish mine would look so nice.
